BuildScope did not come out of a software lab. It came out of the real grind of quoting building work in Australia: site visits, photos, messy notes, and long nights turning all of it into a Scope of Works that actually makes sense.
Why we built it
Good tradies lose jobs they should win, not on price, but on missed items, vague quotes and slow follow-up. After enough years writing scopes the hard way, the fix was obvious: capture the job while it is fresh, let the structure prompt for the things people forget, and turn it into a clear, priced scope in minutes instead of hours.
Who it is for
Builders, tradies, renovators, subcontractors and small construction businesses across Australia. If you quote real work and you are sick of doing the paperwork twice, it is built for you. Every trade has its own line items, inclusions and wording, not a generic template you have to bend to fit.
How we think about it
BuildScope is an assistive tool, not magic. It gives you a strong starting point fast. You stay in control: every line item, quantity and rate is yours to review, edit and adjust before anything goes to a client. It helps reduce missed items and produce clearer scopes. It does not replace your judgement, your pricing, or your responsibility for the final quote.
