Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how subscriptions, cancellations and refunds are handled.
These documents are general draft website policies and should be reviewed by an Australian lawyer before publication.
Subscriptions
BuildScope may offer paid subscriptions on a monthly, yearly, trial or usage-based basis. Subscription details will be shown at checkout or inside the account billing area.
Cancellations
Users may cancel their subscription according to the billing settings available in their account. Cancellation will usually stop future billing but may not automatically refund fees already paid.
Refunds
Refunds may be considered where required by Australian law or where BuildScope chooses to provide one at its discretion. Refunds are not automatically provided simply because:
- A user changed their mind
- A user did not use the service
- A user forgot to cancel
- A user no longer needs the service
- A project did not proceed
- A quote was not accepted
- A user did not review AI-generated output
Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
Trials
If BuildScope offers a free trial, the trial terms will be shown at sign-up. Users are responsible for cancelling before the trial converts to a paid subscription if they do not wish to continue.
