BuildScope helps you create better construction documents faster, but it does not replace professional judgement.
These documents are general draft website policies and should be reviewed by an Australian lawyer before publication.
1. Assistive tool only
BuildScope is an assistive software platform. It helps users draft, organise, check and export project information.
BuildScope does not inspect sites, verify measurements, confirm engineering requirements, check physical construction, certify compliance or approve building work.
2. User must review everything
All outputs must be reviewed by the user before being relied on, issued, quoted, submitted, signed or sent to a client. This includes AI-generated scopes, quote notes, exclusions, inclusions, assumptions, project summaries, PDFs and bill of materials information.
3. No guarantee of accuracy
BuildScope does not guarantee that generated content is:
- Complete
- Accurate
- Compliant
- Profitable
- Suitable for a specific project, contract, client or site condition
4. Construction risk
Construction projects involve real-world variables that software cannot fully control or assess, including:
- Site conditions
- Hidden damage
- Structural requirements
- Weather, access and material availability
- Labour availability
- Builder workmanship
- Client changes
- Regulatory, engineering and safety requirements
Users remain responsible for making appropriate professional decisions.
5. No liability for building outcomes
BuildScope is not responsible for defective building work, incorrect pricing, missed items, lost profit, project delays, client disputes, builder errors, trade errors or financial losses caused by reliance on unreviewed, incomplete, incorrect or unsuitable information.
Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
