What BuildScope checks on every glazier job.

Industry-specific inclusions, prompted before you send the scope, not discovered after you win it.

Supply
  • Windows & doors
  • Shower screens
  • Splashbacks & mirrors
Install
  • Measure & template
  • Install & seal
  • Hardware & adjust

The scope itself

What goes into a glazier scope of works.

Glazing scopes need the glass specified exactly, because grade and thickness are the price and the compliance.

Line items that belong on it

  • Site measure and template prior to manufacture
  • Supply windows and doors to nominated glass type and grade
  • Supply shower screens to specified configuration
  • Supply splashbacks and mirrors as scheduled
  • Install, seal and adjust hardware on completion

What gets left off

  • Glass type and grade. Toughened, laminated and standard are different prices and different rules.
  • Access and install conditions. Upper floors and tight access change the install completely.
  • Sealing and making good. Silicone, trims and tidy-up after install are real time.

Worth excluding in writing

  • Making good to surrounding surfaces after install
  • Structural alterations to openings
  • Removal of existing glazing containing hazardous material

Glaziers know how to walk a job and price it. BuildScope takes the paperwork between the site meeting and the quote going out.

FAQ

Questions glaziers ask before signing up.

Is BuildScope built for glaziers?
Yes. BuildScope is built around real glazier scopes of works, with glaziers-specific line items, inclusions and wording. It is not a generic template you have to bend to fit.
Can BuildScope help glaziers avoid missed items?
That is the point. It prompts for the things glaziers commonly leave off a quote, like windows & doors and shower screens, so fewer items slip through before you send the scope.
What should a glazing scope of works include?
Supply and install as separate sections, with the glass specified in full. Site measure and template, then each unit scheduled with its size, glass type, thickness and grade, then install, sealing and hardware adjustment. Grade matters because it is both a price difference and a compliance requirement, so it belongs in writing rather than assumed.
Why does glass type need to be specified on the quote?
Because the same size panel can be several very different prices depending on whether it is standard, toughened or laminated, and because certain locations require a particular grade. Writing the specification into the scope means the client is comparing like for like against other quotes, and you are not carrying the cost if the requirement turns out to be higher than assumed.
Can I edit the scope after the AI builds it?
Always. Every line item, quantity, rate and section is editable. Reorder, add, remove or reword anything before you export.
Does BuildScope work from voice notes and photos?
Yes. Talk through the glazier job, or drop in site notes and a PDF, and BuildScope turns it into a structured Scope of Works you review and tidy.
How does the free trial work?
7 days free with 10 scopes on us, no credit card. Build and export them however you like. After that it is $99 per user a month, everything included.
Does BuildScope work with the software I already use?
Yes. Connect it once from your account settings and any saved scope can be pushed across as a draft, carrying your line items, section headings and exclusions, with the BuildScope PDF attached. BuildScope never sends it to your client and never raises an invoice: that stays your call.
